Ford’s 3.5L GTDi engine has been developed with performance in mind, with the core internal components designed to maintain durability at the level of power the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 delivers. It has twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT), and dual overhead camshafts (DOHC) with lightweight aluminum cylinder heads.
